IT-TRANSIT Limited Liability Company was established on the basis of the first-rate oil and gas industry institute in Ukraine, OJSC EPE VNIPITRANSGAZ during its structural reorganization in 2006.
Leading staff of the new enterprise was formed of the experts from Complex Engineering Surveys, Geophysical Well Logging and Diagnostics Departments of the institute. Unique long-term experience of the personnel, state-of-the-art technologies, and professional knowledge make it possible for the IT-TRANSIT LLC to gain the character of a reliable and trustworthy partner rendering engineering and informational services for enterprises within the oil and gas complex of Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan and Latvia. Today the Company has been specialized in performance geodetic and topographic surveying and land cadastral, engineering investigations, scientific and research, cartographic and design works, informational consulting and development of specialized software for pipeline transportation systems, oil and gas extraction, petroleochemistry and gas processing facilities and enterprises. IT-TRANSIT performs the works using the most advanced world technologies. Therefore, applied equipment and software allows achieving high quality and professional level of the output. The enterprise has licenses on performance topographic and geodesic surveying and land cadastral works as well as the necessary certification for carrying out works in the hazard zones including operating oil and gas facilities.

Since 2007 IT-TRANSIT LLC. is an associative member of Open Design Alliance International Consortium, and since 2009 - is a member of Pipeline Open Data Standard Association
